The production

Possessing the power of intrigue, controversy and dark charm. Distilled in the UK, everything is done in-house – from fermenting the British-grown wheat to distilling the mash, filtering and finally bottling. To create a vodka of the highest quality, purified and filtered water is married with the alcohol resulting in an incredibly pure, smooth and refined drink.

The story about the vodka

Ghost Vodka is a very special vodka – that is uncontroversial. But also the story behind the vodka is very interesting.
The distillery, in which this vodka is distilled, has an exceptional location. In the Victorian time there was an old storage for salt on this place. Some workmen rumoured that strange events happened during their work. Curious sounds from inside the storage, shadows on the walls and clanking shutters are some examples. Since the storage is closed and the distillery is located on this place no extraordinary incidents happened anymore.

Taste & enjoyment

When you open a bottle a taste of wheat rises. This does not remind of a strong alcoholic strength but of a high quality alcoholic product. Because of notes of honeydew melon at the beginning and a smooth outflow at the end Ghost Vodka suits best with lemon and other sweet flavours.
For connoisseur you have to put the vodka in the freezer for 20 minutes and drink it on the rocks. Another well tasting alternative is to mix the Ghost Vodka with sparkling water and small sliced basil.

Available fillings

At the moment there are three different fillings of Ghost Vodka: the gold edition, the silver edition and the Union Jack edition. Some of these fillings are only available on request at BIGSPIRITS.
