DQ VODKA
ORIGINS
Sweden is internationally known for its clean environment, rich water resources in rivers and lakes, and clean water quality. The groundwater in Swedish Vodka is naturally filtered by the many shale ridges created by the glaciers. The water of Malmköping, located in the east of Sweden, is famous for its quality since a long time. This is perhaps also the reason why people settled there 5000 years ago.
DISTILLED QUALITY
DQ stands for “Distilled Quality” and is a tribute to the high quality of the basic ingredients as well as the production methods. A continuous distillation process, which has been used in Sweden for more than 130 years, is used in the production of DQ vodkas. The water is so pure that it no longer requires any subsequent filtration. The water is then treated by osmosis in the bottling system to deionise it and refine its taste. During production, the quality manager checks the quality of the vodka once an hour. Vodka of this high quality can only be produced in small batches.
DQ Vodka is gluten-free, made from Swedish winter wheat, distilled 250 times, but filtered only once. Likewise, emphasis is placed on CO2-neutral production.
THE BOTTLE
The DQ bottle itself is a masterpiece with an unusual design. The manufacturers of the bottle components can be found all over Europe, only the best is good enough. Each DQ Vodka bottle is as unique as the human fingerprint, while conveying the feeling of power and luxury.
