BLACK TEARS SPICED RUM

The Island Rum Company was established in 2012. The idea was to combine local influence and networks in Cuba with deep international spirits industry experience in order unique, new and existing Cuban rum brands to the global market. During the whole production process the deep traditions of Cuban rum making are combined with innovations.

Black Tears Spiced Rum unites Cuban rum and Cuban spices, with coffee, cacao and ají dulce, which is a sweet chili pepper. The rum is full of toasty, roasted flavors and not mainly sweet.

TASTING NOTES

Loads of baking spices, nutmeg, cinnamon, chili pepper spice, roasted coffee bean, dusty cocoa, with toasted, slightly caramelized nuts and a tannic finish. What a combination?
