LA PROGRESIVA 13

The Island Rum Company was established in 2012. The idea was to combine local influence and networks in Cuba with deep international spirits industry experience in order unique, new and existing Cuban rum brands to the global market. During the whole production process the deep traditions of Cuban rum making are combined with innovations.

This rum is hand-crafted by Bodega Vigia’s women rum maestros. La Progresiva 13 breaks new grounds. Enjoy this elegant, dry rum like a fine cognac or rare whiskey: with a twist of orange and a single large ice cube or room temperature in a balloon glass. The aromas fit in a Progressive Old-Fashioned, a Cuban Negroni, or a Hemingway Daiquiri.

TASTING NOTES

Light sweetness with a high intensity of flavors that are felt in glass remembering the slight sweetness of sugarcane honey. Later on the taste remembers of a light flavor of caramel, vanilla and species typical of their passage through wood.
