LORD OF BARBÈS
Being a Lord is a way of life, a philosophy, which consists of seeking the exceptional, assuming its difference, not for the sake of standing out but for pure hedonistic pleasure. The Lord of Barbès gin is for such aesthetes as these. Every day. Cheers!
THE ART OF DISTILLATION
The cellar master Lord Philippe produces his extraordinary distillates in a Stupfler copper still, the Rolls Royce of stills. Since the still is heated with an open flame, a sensitive handling and many years of know-how in the production of spirits are required. This method of production makes it possible to heat the neutral alcohol mixed with botanicals precisely and ensure that the flavours are preserved. The Lord of Barbés Gin is produced at the Bercloux distillery.
The botanicals juniper, monkey bread (baobab), ginger roots, angelica, cardamom, coriander, nutmeg, paradise seeds (guinea pepper) and dried mango are used for the production. The result is an organic and incredibly aromatic gin in an extraordinary bottle of cobalt blue glass. The taste is rich, refined, surprisingly soft and sweet. Despite its 50 percent alcohol by volume, gin contains the aromatic diversity of the raw materials of which it is made. Whether pure or as a cocktail, the Lord of Barbès Gin is waiting to be consumed by lords and ladies.
